Little and Local Outings

At Bluebells and Blossoms we love to support our community and extend our learning through little and local outdoor adventures. Staying local gives our families peace of mind and supporting our community adds to our 'Reggio Emilia' approach.

A place our little ones love to visit is our local play café. The sensory room is exceptional and the children get stuck into role play, messy activities and have a chance to develop their gross motor skills with the climbing frame and bouncy castle. Messy Pups offer a 'rhyme time' class which is offered weekly throughout term time. A special day for us is a birthday morning at Messy Pups with cake and a party hat!

Sittingbourne Library

The children adore visiting the library to swap books and engage their imagination. The library often have events and activities that we are able to attend. The group story times with props have often been a favourite.

Local Parks and Play spaces

We like to explore our local playgrounds and take nature walks to find small treasures to bring back to setting. We use a local playing field to accommodate our sports equipment such as stepping stones, hurdles, balls, parachute games and more.

The Bakery

The children enjoy choosing a biscuit or treat from our local bakery after exploring our local charity shops. Teaching the children about donating toys and the introduction of life skills within the community allow children to excel in their personal, social and emotional development.
